About Foster Elite Performance

My journey has been defined by a relentless pursuit of excellence, a commitment that has propelled me through diverse and demanding fields. From the adrenaline of elite athletics to the high-stakes world of law enforcement and the discipline of military service, each experience has forged within me a unique understanding of human potential and the drive to achieve it. Now, as the founder of Foster Elite Performance, I channel that hard-earned wisdom to empower others to reach their own summits.

Foster Elite Performance is more than just a training facility; it's the culmination of my life's work. It's where I combine my experience as an elite athlete, my expertise as a coach, and the lessons learned in the military and law enforcement to help individuals and teams unlock their full potential. I am driven by a passion to empower others to exceed their limitations, whether in athletics, professional endeavors, or life itself. My journey has been a testament to the power of dedication, resilience, and the relentless pursuit of excellence, and I am committed to instilling those values in every individual I have the privilege to coach.

Personal Athletic Achievements

My foundation was laid on the track. I was a Maryland 3A State Champion in both the 110m and 300m hurdles during my time at Tuscarora High School, earning accolades such as Washington Post and Frederick News-Paper Track Athlete of the Year. Those years were a whirlwind of competition and achievement, including multiple First Team All-County and All-Region honors, and victories in numerous county and regional championships.

The discipline and dedication I cultivated in high school carried me through my collegiate career. At Mars Hill University, I became a South Atlantic Conference 400m hurdle champion and First Team All-Region athlete, recognized as a top 400m hurdler in the West Region. My athletic journey continued at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, where I achieved 3rd place in the American East Conference 400m hurdles and qualified for the IC4A Championships. My athletic career culminated in 2018 with selection to the USA Bobsled and Skeleton National Team, a testament to years of unwavering commitment.

Coaching Experience and Certifications

Beyond my personal athletic achievements, I discovered a passion for coaching and mentoring. Over nine years, I honed my coaching skills, earning certifications as a NASM Strength and Conditioning Specialist, USR Speed Specialist (Level 1), Sports Nutritionist, and a Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 USATF Coaching Certification. I've had the privilege of coaching athletes at various levels—clubs, middle and high schools, and college—and have celebrated numerous successes, including AAU Junior Olympic qualifiers and champions, conference champions, and state qualifiers. One highlight was coaching a Shot Put AAU Junior Olympic National Champion in 2016, an athlete who was also featured in Sports Illustrated.

Military and Law Enforcement Service

Before dedicating myself fully to coaching, I answered a different call to serve. I proudly served in the United States Air Force World Class Athlete Program (2018), an experience that instilled in me the values of discipline, teamwork, and resilience. Following my military service, I transitioned into law enforcement, serving as a Police SWAT Operator. This role demanded peak physical and mental conditioning, strategic thinking, and the ability to perform under extreme pressure. The experiences in the Air Force and as a SWAT Operator were challenging and intense, further shaping my understanding of human performance under pressure.
